2024-04-02
From March 27 to 29, 2024, a team of experts from the Group’s safety‑standardization assessment panel visited Bowei Electric to conduct an on-site review of the company’s Level‑3 compliance with national safety production standards. The company’s management team, heads of all departments, and the safety‑standardization task force were fully prepared to participate in the assessment. Wang Xu, Director of the Safety and Confidentiality Department at China Electric Power Bowei, was invited to attend in person and provide on‑site guidance.
The expert review panel, through listening to briefings, examining supporting documentation, conducting on-site assessments, and verifying information, evaluated the company against the Group’s “Safety Production Standardization Scoring Criteria—Part 1: Comprehensive Management” and “Safety Production Standardization Requirements—Part 9: Hazardous Chemicals,” among other assessment standards. The evaluation covered all work units required by Bowei Electric’s safety production standardization framework and assessed the company’s recent comprehensive safety management records, as well as the on-site working environment and equipment and facilities.
After three days of rigorous and well-organized on-site auditing, the expert panel commended our company for its strong commitment to workplace safety, its systematic advancement of on-site operational management, and the establishment of a comprehensive 6S-based site‑management system. At the same time, they identified specific issues uncovered during the review and provided detailed recommendations and requirements for corrective action. Ultimately, the panel unanimously concluded that the company places great emphasis on the standardized operation and continuous improvement of occupational safety, meeting the Level 3 standards for safety production set by CETC and the defense‑industry system, and successfully passed the on-site assessment.
At the closing meeting, General Manager Zhao Liangman expressed his sincere gratitude to the review expert panel for their hard work and to the higher-level authorities for their support and guidance. He emphasized that this review constituted a comprehensive “health check” of the company’s work on production safety. He instructed all departments to attach great importance to production safety, foster a culture of full‑staff participation in safety management, address weak links by drawing broader lessons and implementing corrective measures, and use this safety‑standardization review as a fresh starting point to continuously improve the standardized safety‑management system and elevate the overall level of safety management, thereby contributing to the company’s sustainable, high‑quality development.
